"Tales of Being a Guest" by Paula Oltmann refers to us being guest on earth and in nature. Tensions between cool steel, soft wax, and fresh turf allow an examination of different narratives about landscapes through time.

About

The exhibition is part of the art festival Ortstermin under this year's theme GAST/SPIELE, and will take place at KUKUMU, an open space for art, culture, and music.

The attached mediation program welcomes visitors to engage with narratives about landscapes. Thus, the exhibition includes a selection of texts dealing with different aspects of nature and the actors of the Anthropocene that can be read on the lawn of the exhibition space during the opening hours. An artist talk between Paula Oltmann and Evelyn Kliesch on Saturday at 4:30 pm and a screening of Donna Haraway's "Story Telling for Earthly Survival" on Sunday at 6 pm complete the mediation program.
