BAKER HOWARD CONTEMPORARY is delighted to invite you to our latest exhibition: TABULA RASA – new art from around the world.
About
Tabula Rasa is a Latin phrase translated as a ‘clean or blank slate’, where empiricists have ascribed the openness of the human mind before ideas have been imprinted on it by the reaction of the senses to the external world of objects. This is the principle behind the latest BAKER HOWARD CONTEMPORARY exhibition, where we encourage you to visit our electrifying new show with an open mind. Several of our artists are in the avant-garde, with some being highly transgressive, producing deeply psychological and disturbing, yet fascinating, works that are only suitable for those 18+. Indeed, we are launching a highly controversial French artist at the show, who is yet to feature on our website!
The BHC represents a number of exciting, under-the-radar artists, many at the cutting-edge of creative practice from all over the world, who have hitherto not received the exposure their talent deserves. Tabula Rasa shines a bright light on some of them for the first time. And whatever corporeal, aesthetic or phenomenological direction they take, all of our artists are renowned for their vision and/or their technical ability.
