Bella Kerr describes Bed and Table as a spatial drawing. The work comprises installed objects which vary in scale and age - a collection of toy and life-sized tables, beds and other made and found objects. Alongside this, the artist considers the iconic forms of the domestic bed and table in two-dimensional drawings. Kerr plays with the âminiature' - emphasised by the size of the inFOCUS space. Tiny objects are linked physically by fabric and threads, but also metaphorically, provoking a series of darker questions.
