The annual open competition attracts over 200 entries from adults and children. Professional judges make the selection each year and then the public vote for their favourite during the exhibition run.

Adult theme: “The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper”. Under 18 theme: “Magical things under the magnifying glass”.
