“Sài Gòn, a dream” is an exhibition of multiple exposures on film by young Vietnamese photographer, Voshida Truong.
About
Voshida comes from Tien Gian in the south of Vietnam, and lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon (or Sài Gòn in Vietnamese).
Voshida’s multiple exposures on film capture the contrasts of the city - the grand and the intimate, the rush and the chaos, but also the quiet and contemplative moments. They also look beyond the city borders, towards the freedom of natural landscapes.
Despite their surreal aesthetic, Voshida’s photographs offer the subtle and sensitive gaze of a street photographer who looks at the human and personal dimension of life in a metropolis.
You can find Voshida’s work on Instagram and his blog.
