About
Along with a selection of SYRETT’s well known nail varnish-based abstract artworks, SYRETT will also show bespoke furniture pieces created in partnership with ROOME London. The show will also debut three works in his new series: “Beautiful Scars”. This series uses Kintsugi, an ancient Japanese method of mending ceramics using gold, silver or platinum to highlight the cracks of the damaged piece. Kintsugi values the breaks and repairs of an object and instills it as part of its history, rather than hiding it. Just as with Kintsugi ceramic pieces, SYRETT uses gold leaf to highlight cracks on prints.
