The event, titled Lincoln: 21st Century Perspectives on Murals and Art for Public Spaces, is part of our Russell Chantry exhibition by contemporary artist Lothar Götz.

About

The purpose of this Symposium is to focus on the perspectives of historians, artists and curators on murals and art in a public space, providing a context to the work of Duncan Grant and Lothar Götz and their work in Lincoln. It also looks at the impact and significance of Grant's work, as well as exploring the role of art in a public space and its effect on society.
