Departing from the concept of the social body as an event and the contemporary demands for such a body to be event-managed, the gathering will venture into the neurological and biological moments in which bodies might become disobedient - sick, stressed and accidentally unruly. The symposium will feature a number of interlocutors, presentations and interventions. This event is part of Cally Spooner's Stanley Picker Fellowship at Kingston University.
