Soulutions is the collection of remains made during multiple nomadic performances. These moments created by several participants, transforming objects through repetitive gestures, are the potions prepared by their effort.
About
As part of the exhibition "Devenir" at the Collège des Bernardins curated by Sophie Monjaret, accompanied by Cecile Welker, the French-Peruvian Artist Natalia Villanueva Linares will organize a performance on May 26th as part of the nomadic series of Performance Soulutions.
Soulutions the library of gestures, is a collection of remains made during multiple nomadic performances. These moments created by several participants, transforming objects through repetitive gestures covered with simplicity that are distilled from personal performances, in wich the Artist prepares multiple solutions, a liquid or a potion to heal what is incurable to her; or from her personal practice.
Inspired by the beauty of these actions, with the intention of sharing a massive production of unique gestures, the library develops session after session bringing a sense of transmission.
For several years this project has been developing with the collaboration of filmmakers and photographers (in the United States, France, Germany) to create an encyclopedic collection of books, telling the story of performances and these remains.
(We are also looking for volunteers to participante in this experience, without any prior experience open to all person older than 15 years old. Deadline to participate is May 25th midnight)
