A recent graduate from Chelsea College of Art and Design, Norris's strong fascination with nature and form has been developed to expose the relationship between the harsh and the tactile, though the exploration of spines and sharp manmade forms including barbed wire, fused with the illusive nature of flowers and petals. This theme inspired the designs of an exciting range of textile structures developed into jewellery, photography and interior displays. With the use of leather, laminates and plastic fabrics manipulated and snipped into, reveals distinctive and diverse structural designs. Live models will be used to display the works, and a variety of different other displays will explore the impact of gravity.

The collaboration at The Foundry Gallery was initiated through a shared interest in unique structures and the use of materials. The Gallery is very pleased to launch Jennifer's first solo, London show.
