For Pätzug/Hertweck, the playful disturbance of everyday spatial experience stands at the focus of their artistic engagement. At central points of intersection between anthropological, architectural, and geometric spaces, they place mechanically animated sculptural elements that trick and overcome visitors in their customary ways of maneuvering in spaces. The space itself turns against the beholder. Participants are thus made aware of the structures of subjective spatial experience.

On October 7, 2018, to mark the conclusion of the exhibition, a mobile menu will be served linked to the work shown. Mobile Menu is a series of meals initiated by stay hungry where a link to the respective exhibition in terms of form and content is created by a meal at the end of the exhibition.
