About

Watch a conversation between climate activist Daze Aghaji and writer and podcaster Natasha Lipman as they reflect on their recent experiences of balancing personal wellbeing with supporting their communities.

Natasha shares her own experience of chronic illness with others, while Daze advocates for climate justice, but they have been reflecting on similar questions: where does self-care end and community care begin? And how do you find a balance between the two?

You’ll see Daze and Natasha in a prerecorded conversation lasting around 40 minutes, and you’ll be able to post comments in chat during the broadcast.

For the last ten minutes of the event the speakers will join you live, to respond and share their final thoughts.

This event will be hosted through the videoconferencing platform BlueJeans. After booking a ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with joining instructions.

You will be able to comment and ask questions live online using the chat function throughout the event. Your microphone and camera will be switched off for the whole session.

Please note that the audio description is not an additional track; instead the host and speakers describe themselves and any key visual elements they refer to. The event will be live-captioned by Stagetext.
