An international artist-run art fair for artist-run galleries and other artists' initiatives.
About
Supermarket is an international art fair for artist-run spaces, created and managed by artists. Only artist-run galleries and similar artists' initiatives exhibit, and the focus is on the meeting between audience, art and artists from around the world as much as the exhibition itself.
The programme includes the seminar series SUPERMARKET TALKS, a performance art programme, the networking/knowledge exchange meetings program SUPERMARKET MEETINGS and much more. Since 2010 the catalogue is combined with the annual Supermarket Art Magazine.
Each year between 60 and 80 artists’ initiatives from up to 30 countries participate.
