About
This Autumn, Sunday Assembly brings you a fabulous feast of festive sing-alongs to celebrate the change of seasons. An old school harvest festival, with a live band, choir; a large dose of comedy, spoken word and an epic raffle.
A programme which will leaf(!) you feeling energised about the golden days to come
As part of the seasonal events series, which saw the sell-out Yule Rock take Islington’s Union Chapel by winter-storm, Top of the Crops celebrates the summer with a wealth of classic sing-alongs and power ballads.
The event will showcase comedians, spoken word artists and ethical speakers, alongside Sunday Assembly’s awesome band and choir, who will lead you into a vibrant evening which includes all the conventional elements of the tradition and much more.
Come on by and give peas a chance...
Celebrating the root of harvest festivals, Sunday Assembly asks audience members to bring a donation of non-perishable food items, canned goods or sleeping bags. These will be distributed amongst local food banks, drop-in centres and homeless organsiations, including Trussell Trust, The Manna Society, North Paddington Food Bank and Margins Cafe at the Union Chapel.
About Sunday Assembly
Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More: A global movement for wonder and good
“The godless Sunday gathering is a global movement that celebrates life. It’s part foot-stomping congregation, part atheist church and 100% celebration of life. They unite people to sing pop songs, listen to talks and create joyful communal experience. There is no doctrine or deity. There’s no supernatural: it’s a simple and energetic celebration of life as we know it”, Wilderness festival
“Like the best stand-up gigs, you leave feeling just a little bit brighter about the world” Alice Jones, the Independent
