Through a process of personal discovery enhanced by their own interests, students will be encouraged to explore individual responses to the life model in paint.
About
Through a process of personal discovery enhanced by their own interests, students will be encouraged to explore individual responses to the life model in paint. The course will use drawing as a preparatory exercise, moving on to explore composition, form, colour and space in their paintings. The week’s work leads towards a definitive painting by each student. The prinicipal medium for the course will be oil paints however students who prefer to work in other painting mediums are welcome to do so.
This course is taught by visiting Chilean artist Ignacio Valdes.
Open to all levels including beginners.
