About
Murmurations gallery presents its second annual Summer Open with over 20 local and regional artists exhibiting contemporary artworks for sale. Artworks include sculpture, paintings, photography, ceramics, fused glass as well as prints and cards. As with all Opens, it is an eclectic show but the gallery has developed a reputation of putting on sometimes quirky and unusual art as well as artworks under the fine art umbrella. Artists include more established practitioners such as Mary Beany, Cliff Crawford, Julie Snowball, Kate Gritton, Sue McDougall, Katy Oxborrow, Mark Welland as well as new artists Chloe Vince and Gabriele Ghiani. The PV was well attended with artists and artist groups from far afield as Tunbridge Wells, Brighton, Lewis as well as Bexhill, Eastbourne and Hastings.
The exhibition is on from 4 th – 30 th July. Admission is free. Open Tuesdays to Sundays 10.30-4.30pm.
