About
Elaine Kazimierczuk is well-know for her colourful semi-abstract work depicting the natural environment. This current collection takes you from Iffley Meadows to Marrakech ... via Tuscany. She offers small works to sit on your bookshleves, besides large pieces to fill your boardroom. Elaine also offers workshops on abstract painting techniques.
Xenia Kravchenko has explored the changing moods and light of Wytham Woods to inspire a new series of portraits of trees. She also produces conventional portraiture, breaking down the canons of the academic tradition to capture character and emotion through the use of outlining, blurring and speed-sketching.
Jon Rowland's recent visit to Kerala has reinforced his ideas on colour and vibrancy. The bright pinks, yellows and turquoise of the buildings and the richness of the clothing have been important in his choice of palette. Each picture dissects the landscape to expose its essence and abstracts, and ‘decorates’ the result of this analysis.
The first two events feature mainly work by Elaine and Xenia and the thrid and fourth events include more work by Elaine and Jon.
