Join artist Hiroshi Sugimoto for this introduction to Enoura Observatory, the headquarters of his Odawara Art Foundation, which received Japan Society grants in 2011 and 2014 and opened to the public this October.

About

Over the past decade, Enoura Observatory has become a major focus of Sugimoto's practice. The campus includes capacious gallery and astronomical observation spaces, a tearoom and an outdoor Roman-inspired stone amphitheater with a glass stage. Sugimoto will also discuss his other recent architectural projects and their connection to his photographic practice and exhibitions, including Gates of Paradise
