About
Stephen West’s drawings and sculpture draw on the energy of rural Wales which,100 years later, he sees confronting issues around global climate change, use of land, flood protection, immigration and energy production. His inspiration comes from the trees outside the window and the meetings or social gatherings he attends with interruptions from the news on the TV. He expresses emotion in the energy and force of nature and human interactions.
