Join us for a relaxed study afternoon, suitable for people with a general or more specialist interest in the acquisition of historical and cultural objects, and the role of the collector. Speakers include Dr Mark Nesbitt, curator at the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, John Mack, professor of world art studies at UEA and former senior keeper at the British Museum, John Burton, director of the World Land Trust and artist Jason Gathorne-Hardy. You may wish to visit the Basketry exhibition independently beforehand and perhaps have lunch in the Sainsbury Centre Gallery Café. Please note that the exhibition closes at 5pm and will not be open after the Study Afternoon.
