Studio 7 Opens Doors With Inaugural Exhibition in Mayfair - 30 January - 4 February 2017
About
Studio 7 is pleased to present its first group exhibition at 54 The Gallery, Shepherd Market, London, W1. Studio 7 is made up of 7 accomplished painters who meet regularly to work in a small professional practice group based at London Museum of Water and Steam, Kew Bridge.
Working from the eponymous Studio 7, members enjoy sharing ideas and techniques and benefit from the encouragement of highly regarded artist Jason Bowyer (NEAC, PP, RP0).
The seven painters represented in the exhibition are: Colette Clegg, Roise Copeland, Jill Fairbairns, Christ Great, Piers Grizelle, Viv King and Ann Whitehead.
Connected by a shared interest in painting and drawing from observation, the group's paintings are both distinct from each other, and yet united by their dynamic approach to landscapes, interiors, still life and the figure.
