Short Readings of Angela Carter in the main galleries by leading academics from UWE, Bristol. Join Associate Professor in English, Marie Mulvey-Roberts for extracts from key works. Mulvey-Roberts is the co-founder of the journal Women’s Writing, for which she is the editor. She works in the areas of Gothic and gender and her publications include Dangerous Bodies: Historicising the Gothic Corporeal (2016) and the edited Literary Bristol: Writers and the City (2015). She is the editor of the forthcoming, `The Arts of Angela Carter: A Cabinet of Curiosities' for Manchester University Press and has published several chapters relating to Carter, who remains her favourite author.
