About
Storie Naturali is the first group show organized and curated by Galleria Marcolini. The exhibition is named after a collection of short stories by Primo Levi published in 1966, and includes the works of CJ Taylor (Australia), Adriano Valeri (Italia-USA), Elena Hamerski (Italia) and Nikki Lam (Hong Kong – Australia). It will be open from June 5 through July 4, 2015.
It is a multi-media project whose theoretical kernel develops around the nature–culture binomial, the relationship between the organic world and human agency. Here history is synonymous with human temporality and praxis, whereas nature refers to the original data, which are manipulated by technological progress (or indifference).
