Take a stroll with pen and paper in Heavers Meadow with artist Daniel MacCarthy and consider the myriad of ways of approaching any subject through drawing - be it a park or park bench - in a way which is as exciting as the drawings it produces.

About

From our meeting point at Selhurst Station, we'll walk to Heavers Meadow. Discussing approaches to drawing from observation; choice of angle, viewpoint, distortion, invention, etc. Walking through the park we'll observe all its features - trees, allotments, stream, railway tracks - then spread out and choose locations to draw, with Daniel on hand for advice and discussion.
