About

Fibrefusion are an established group of fourteen contemporary textile artists, tutored and mentored by Pauline Verrinder and based near Cambridge. Their fortnightly meetings at Cottenham Village College near Cambridge provides a forum for discussing and working on individual work in a supportive environment. Through this process each artist gradually builds up a body of work for their next exhibition.

They have exhibited locally, nationally and internationally and are also known for collectively writing and publishing five textile art workbooks which are sold worldwide.

Each member of the group has designed and created a body of work illustrating their individual explorations within the theme of ‘Stitch Without Walls’.  Fibrefusion as a group and as individuals, continually attempt to push the boundaries in their creative journey.  In choosing a title for the exhibition we hope that ‘Stitch Without Walls’ reflects this endeavour.
