A new site-specific dance piece created in response to the public realm artworks in Nine Elms.

About

As part of a summer programme of public art in the area, Lorraine Roberts is creating a new, site-specific dance performance piece.

Choreographer Lorraine Roberts has worked with older people and students at the Royal Academy of Dance to create a performance inspired by the sculpture present around New Union Square and Riverlight.

The choreography takes its cues from the form, structure and the ideas that informed the creation of the original artworks. As a promenade piece, the dance will also create links between different artworks, as they are linked in space.
