About
London based artist Samara Scott exhibits for the first time in Scotland in The Tin Roof Gallery. A material alchemist often using edible substances from avocado skins to toothpaste in creating her floor and wall based installations and sculptures.
Scott concocts, blends and mixes elements both found, bought and remade to realise a blended palette of toxic colour modes that construct an immersive surrounding. Within the gallery the artist will develop an environment in which each surface of the space is embellished with painted motifs and textures embodying techniques harnessed from impressionism and pointillism.
