The Rag Factory presents Steve Ullathorne: Restyles of the Dead and Famous

About

Following a decade of over-exposed celebrity wannabes and people famous only for being, well, famous, The Rag Factory will be welcoming in the new decade with the London première of a new exhibition by photographer Steve Ullathorne, featuring his Restyles of the Dead and Famous series. Described by Forth FM as ‘like Banksy with a camera', Steve's exhibition features his quirky take on the former homes of Winston Churchill, George Orwell and Captain Scott, to name just three of the 33 pictures in the series. Ullathorne's exhibition is a timely reminder that our lives may in future be summarised by just one idea, but tempered with the affection and humour that are his trademark style. Restyles of the Dead and Famous runs from 8-10 January 2010 at The Rag Factory, 16-18 Heneage Street, London E1 5LJ (just off Brick Lane).
