About
Join us for a group making session, sharing your thoughts for a more creative
Lincoln on paper. We hope the workshop will start generating the content for a tiny
library of ideas to encourage future creativity in Lincoln. We will be archiving
collective dreams, manifestos, thoughts, wants, needs, and ideas through zine
making.
Saturday 19th November, 11am - 2pm.
Free Workshop, at The Collection, Lincoln.
What creative support and spaces do you want to see in Lincoln? How could the city
better enable its creative talent? What could that empty space be? How can we
encourage more cultural activity in Lincoln? Can we transform a city using our
collective creative thinking?
We’d like to help capture and share your thoughts to transform Lincoln. Starting
Points will take place between 11am - 2pm on Saturday 19th November 2022, at
The Collection, 1 Danes Terrace, Lincoln LN2 1LP. The event is free and will be
drop-in style, so there’s no need to book tickets. Pop in whenever you like, and stay
for as long as feels right.
We’ll have amazing creatives on standby to help get your ideas on paper. The
early-career creatives supporting this event are Klara Szafranska, Jamzilla, and Lou
Viner of Lincoln Zine Fest. A selection of sustainable, creative materials will be
provided for the workshop.
All are welcome to join the free event. Whether you’ve lived in Lincoln for a long
time, or attending this event will be your first time in the city, either way, we’d love to
hear your ideas – come along to help us imagine a wonderfully creative future.
