Making guns inoperable with Patriotism
About
The exhibition is Berlin-based US artist Ray Noland’s response to the American gun fetish. The show is his first in Germany and first in 6 years. The body of work is built around a Beretta gun replica, water jet with stars and stripes making it inoperable with patriotism. The work begs the question, “What do Americans love more, guns or country?
The artist is crowdfunding to decommission as many guns as possible during his US trip next year. Please, help him with this endeavor. He’s already received two gun donations.
