Richard Selby has extensive knowledge and personal experience of working with key St Ives artists and their estates. The Redfern Gallery was founded in 1923 in Old Bond Street and moved to Cork Street in 1936. Early exhibitions included student work by Barbara Helpworth and in 1938 the gallery organised the first large scale retrospective of Christopher Wood’s paintings.
