Curated by Richard Selby, co-director of The Redfern Gallery in Cork Street, London.
This is a selling exhibition of artists who worked in St Ives from 1847 to the present day.
The potter Richard Phethean who is also based in St Ives shall also be exhibiting.
About
Richard Selby has extensive knowledge and personal experience of working with key St Ives artists and their estates. The Redfern Gallery was founded in 1923 in Old Bond Street and moved to Cork Street in 1936. Early exhibitions included student work by Barbara Helpworth and in 1938 the gallery organised the first large scale retrospective of Christopher Wood’s paintings.

The exhibition will be held at Twenty Twenty Gallery in Quality Square, Ludlow which is owned by Hugh and Mary Elliott. The gallery holds regular exhibitions of contemporary artists and invites individuals from the art and design world to curate one or two exhibitons a year.
