Collective international exhibition organized and presented by international art critic Marta Lock
About
Will be inaugurated on Thursday 8 May at 6 pm at the central and prestigious Golden Duck Gallery in Ráday u. 31°, Budapest, the large international group exhibition conceived by Marta Lock who has carefully selected artists from different countries around the world, that will illuminate the exhibition space with their interpretative facets of various stylistic languages. For the occasion the international critic, thanks to the invaluable cooperation of the owner Katerina Varaldi, has planned a veritable Grand Opening Gala, which will be attended by personalities from the art and culture scene in Budapest, as well as collectors and friends of the gallery. The exhibition will last for three whole weeks, giving the many tourists who crowd the streets of the city centre and local residents plenty of time to enter and let themselves be enveloped by the chromatic magic that is always generated when different authors, each with their own artistic personality, are in dialogue.
Marta Lock explains the exhibition as follows:
"The idea of organising a group exhibition in Budapest was a natural consequence of my admiration for the history and royal beauty of this city, but also a way for the sensitive and attentive Hungarian public to discover new voices of artists from all over Europe and overseas. Within the exhibition space, there will be a room devoted exclusively to Geometric Abstractionism, precisely to create a connection with the vast pictorial tradition that this particular movement, with all its different facets, has had here in Hungary. The other rooms will, in turn, be characterised by a visual harmony linked to the type of pictorial language, but also to the chromatic assonance to give the observer the feeling of being enveloped in the magic of art. Each of the artists in the group show is pursuing a path of growth both within their country of origin and abroad, because in today's globalised world, it is necessary to break down familiar boundaries to allow a wider audience to get to know and appreciate each individual expressive figure."
The artists come from many European countries, but also from some further afield: Italy - Franca Fabrizio, Katia Papaleo, Giancarlo Mariniello, Roberto Buccilli, Alda Delledonne, Marina Mincuzzi, Beatrice Buccella, Claudio Detto, Michela Grassi, Ornella De Rosa DRO, Battista Doneddu, Rita Tripodi, Luigi Bevacqua, Enrico Tubertini -, Austria - Isolde Mischkot, Brigitta Stritezsky -, Germany - Hans Adam, Kirsten Kohrt, Utaellamarie Peter, Margot Vogl -, Slovakia - Zuzana Freyja, Iveta Dančejová, Margareta Nomülner -, Greece - Ageliki Alexandridou -, France - Cécile Batillat, Francois Bianchi, Joseph Buis -, The Netherlands - Andréa Lobel -, England - Mike Ferrel -, Japan - Ryona -, Colombia - Xenia Miranda - and Hungary - Aranka Székely -.
The appointment is therefore unmissable for all art lovers in the round and for those who are curious to discover the different interpretative nuances often arising from the cultural tradition of each nation.
