Inspired by the refraction of light produced in a rainbow and the scientific measure of radiant energy, Spectrum is an analysis of how art is created presented, released, categorized and collected.
Creators are often examined, judged, classified, and dissected based on these non creative aspect of the paths we take. It is a matter of success or failure to be defined not by the quality, content, philosophical, social, intellectual genius of the works-- but rather by digestibility, societal acceptance, economic class, and monetary status. In a world where everything is recycled, nothing under the sun is new.
With all things constantly being re-purposed, there is no originality, only that which is genuine.
