About

The exhibition will feature an installation and a new CGI animation. Drawing from science fiction's visual history, the video explores what it means to push the boundaries of human mortality.

Exploring the tensions between imagined and real world medical innovation, Snow is interested in questions about trans-human bodies, death, loss, the material and digital world and the realities, ethics and logistics of scanning technologies and cryonics.

Tamsin Snow graduated from the RCA in 2012. Previous exhibitions include; Soft Surveillance, Temple Bar Gallery & Studios, Dublin, CrossSections Intervals, Kunsthalle Exnergasse WUK, Vienna, Dead Rubber, UEL Project space, London, 2016; Dazed X Confused Emerging Artist Award, Royal Academy, London, 2015; Lobby Part I & II, Oonagh Young Gallery, Dublin, 2015; Pavilion, Store, London , 2014; and All Humans Do, White Box Gallery, New York, 2012.

In addition to Arts Council England support, this exhibition is also kindly supported by Culture Ireland and is part of GB 18 Programme.
