The Japanese women who studied in New York and lives and works there already for years, is represented in Europe exclusively by the gallery ARTAe.
This artist impressed through their sensitive, all-embracing collages and complex etchings (the first one of them was developed in 2010) as well as by the deep, compact, and completely unexpended in the school of the painting of Mark Rothko. Strong chromaticity, glazing overlays and floating compositions tell about connections and cycles of life, which are open or close, and global synchronicities. The contemplative focus and the ruminant vibrancy don´t caught on the subjective me, but lead on top of this and adumbrate on the meta-level topics like appearance disappearance privateness, room time. Here it´s about inner and outer structures and relationships.
Come and enjoy with us the new graphics which will be shown from Tuesday, the 19th of February of 2013, in the SHOWROOM of the gallery.
Opening-times of the showroom:
Saturday: 10-12 and by arrangement
