RA trained artist Christopher Thompson reimagines East London Buildings for his solo exhibition at Glasshouse Contemporary.
About
A gallery favourite since we launched last year, Christopher is a local Royal Academy trained painter with a phenomenal talent. His love of East London buildings has sparked a collection which blends the real and the surreal, the past and the present. Each meticulously painted artwork moves beyond observation into the quietly fantastic. These are houses infused with narrative and intrigue, inspired by the part of London we call home.
We would love to celebrate this new collection with you, so please do join us at the launch party on Friday 30th May between 6-9 pm. Enjoy some wine and beer with us, and an opportunity to meet the artist.
The exhibition continues until 26th June during our open hours.
