About

Despite the enermous contribution that scientists have made to our understanding of the world, science still has a low profile in Western culture. This new exhibition; series of talks, and the premiere of an opera about entomologist Miriam Rothschild, aims to raise the profile of a handful of fascinating scientific characters who have made ground-breaking discoveries but not gained widespread recognition - Alfred Russell Wallace, Alexander Von Humbolt and Miriam Rothschild.
