The Society of Wood Engravers are back at the Zillah Bell Gallery, Thirsk with their 79th Annual International Exhibition.
About
From 4th - 25th March the Zillah Bell Gallery is proudly hosting the The Society of Wood Engravers 79th Annual International Exhibition. A collection of over 120 selected works promoting the skill of wood engraving.
The Society of Wood Engraving is the principal organisation and rallying point for those interested in the subject; it also maintains a lively interest in other forms of relief printmaking. Essentially, it is an artists’ exhibiting society. There are currently seventy-eight members, practising artists who, having joined as subscribers have been elected members.
The Private View is on 10th March from 6.30 - 8.30pm.
The Zillah Bell Gallery is open Monday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm.
