Combining the disciplines of performance art and contemporary classical music Snyder and Kingsmill will come together for a one off performance which creates a unique rite where sound arches into the directly physical and visceral. This merging brings the stark ritualistic aspects of each of these disciplines to the center stage. Justin Snyder holds two masters degrees in piano and has played in Barbican Main Hall, Barbican Pit Theatre, Wigmore Hall, Sadler's Wells, and The Horse Hospital and has worked with Pina Bausch Tanztheater Wuppertal. He has worked with and premièred pieces by many contemporary classical composers and specialises in new music. Amy Kingsmill has just finished her Fine Art BA at Central Saint Martins and recently performed at Franko B's Untouchables, she is a driven artist specializing in performance and body art with endurance and ritual as core aspects. Her arresting work often utilizes trance, pain and her own idiolect of symbolism to create one off pieces. By presenting the personal as performance Amy allows a vision into shamanic acts which are often hidden or considered lost.
