About
Hot on the heels of opening a new space in Berlin, AA Galleries London presents Snieze, a group exhibition of gallery artists making work in an exciting range of media.
The exhibition features the work of Artists Anonymous, who rebel against the tide of celebrity artists by working collectively and - as their name suggests ' anonymously. Working internationally, and with other individuals, institutions and groups, since 2001 they have been questioning notions of production and authorship in contemporary art. Their work investigates relationships between painting and photography, being mediated through the lens as well as through joint ownership. Snieze also showcases the work of younger, lesser known artists whose work indicates the direction of future exhibitions in AA Galleries' international network of venues.
