Galerie b2 is happy to present a strong group of as well internationally recognized and emerging artists as the last exhibition in this year.

Therefor we invited the curator Dr. Christine Nippe who imagined the meeting between two artists from Galerie b2, Heide Nord from Leipzig and Caroline Hake from Braunschweig, and two external artists, Christine Schulz from Braunschweig and Ronald de Bloeme from Berlin, to question the role and significance of popular culture today.

She found elements from our daily life, smuggled into their work, which took her to the question: How are the artists incorporating the popular culture into their practices?
With painting, photography, sculpture and installation their concepts lead to abstract images and creation of unconventional characters.

Feel warmly invited to join us for the opening. The artists and the curator will be present.

Thanks to the friendly support by Kulturamt Leipzig.
