Smiths Row at Christmas will be a celebration of the very best of British Craft and an opportunity to buy something beautiful and unique. This exhibition will bring together new and established makers working in ceramics, jewelry, textiles, printmaking, glass and more. There will be something for everyone, whether an indulgence or the perfect gift! Our selection of artists and makers include Julia Jowett, a textile artist who makes hand stitched pieces in combination with print and illustration techniques and has been awarded the Selvedge magazine Winner for Excellence in Textiles award at this year's New Designers show in London. Sara Impey, one of the UK's leading quilting experts. Last year, she exhibited at the V&A as part of the 'Quilts 1700 to 2010' exhibition and we will have some of her work here. We shall also be having jewellry from Sally Broughton and Harriet St Leger, ceramics from Hayley Dexter, glass from Tolly Nason and Adam Hussain and artist blacksmith Chris Gosling will be showing a collection of his 'Tendril' candlesticks. There will be a gift for everyone on your list!
