About
To celebrate the 2016 Bristol Biennial, Knowle West Media Centre invites you to a special performance exploring how creativity and technology can be combined to bring about positive social change.
Artists Paul Hurley and Caleb Parkin present a 'Spectaculecture', exploring how technology and data can be used for the common good through a playful mix of performance and poetry.
The performance has been created in response to their journey with 'The Bristol Approach to Citizen Sensing', a programme we have been working on since autumn 2015.
Paul Hurley and Caleb Parkin are interested in arts and participation, both separately and in collaboration. They work in different contexts (galleries, community centres, universities, cafés, on bikes, in factories) and enjoy experimenting and playing, and never quite knowing what’s going to happen.
