The Bank Gallery artists venture out with an exciting new format show: a âSmall Works Open Exhibition' featuring nearly 40 local artists. Both members and guests have on display small works of less than a 40cm maximum dimension. Not only does this allow for a fascinating variety of artistic approaches and styles to be on show together it also has the practical advantage of the works being affordable! All work on display is for sale.
The exhibition runs from 1st February to 13th February (closed Mondays). There also will be a drinks reception on Sunday 6th February from noon until 3pm when visitors can join some of the artists for a glass or two.
The Bank Gallery is a contemporary fine and applied art gallery situated in an old bank property in a prominent position in Chobham High Street that lends itself perfectly to exhibition space. It is run as a co-operative with up to 21 members. There are a couple of memberships available now and interested contemporary fine or applied artists are encouraged to enquire via the web page.
Chobham is a picturesque village in Surrey with individual specialist shops, pub, restaurants, wine bar/coffee shop and a beautiful old church, making it a desirable place to visit. There is ample parking at a public car park within just a couple of minutes walk from the gallery.
