About
The seven artists within Skin & Blister, playfully title their collective exhibition in rhyming code, pointing towards both the underlying themes within all the works, as well as to the process of these works unfolding. Sister. Sisters. Sisterhood. The intensity and power of female friendship and community sits quietly, almost invisibly at the centre of these photographic explorations of the female gaze and the construction of gender.
