Skellig is an exhibition of paintings by artist Aisling Drennan.
This exhibition is the direct result of the artists' reaction to the landscape of Co Kerry during her 2019 artist in residence at Cill Rialaig Artists Centre (IRE);
About
Aisling Drennan is an abstract expressionist oil painter. She has used oil paint, oil bar and charcoal on Fabriano, each mounted and framed to create a body of work at once both playful and substantial.
Aisling holds a Masters in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, UK and a Bachelors in Fine Art (First Class Hons) from CAMM, IRE. Drennan was shortlisted for the 2018 John Moore’s painting prize, Jacksons Open painting prize and the Visual Arts Open. She is a recipient of the Freyer Award (2011) in recognition of excellence for painting from the Royal Dublin Society Art Awards.
