About
The flowing, curvilinear mark is the consistent element through a body of work which utilises a diverse range of materials from digital prints to etched glass, from 3d printing to paint on canvas. This sinuous language of line is constructed from a variety of sources and references. The isolated and re-imagined whiplash curves of Art Nouveau. The interiors and landscapes of utopian/dystopian science fiction fantasy and the networks and interfaces by which we navigate and make sense of our lives and surroundings. All contribute to create a diverse index of marks by which the value and contradictions of the creative process and the fluid nature of our digital, networked selves and environment can be explored.
