Part of the FACT ≠ TRUTH series
Conceived and organised by Anja Henckel and Marietta Auras
How do we understand the physical spaces that surround us, and what influence does it have on the construction of truth?
Sinta Werner explores the manipulation of perception in her work. Her elaborate illusionistic environments mislead and question conventional perspectives and representations. The superimposition of image motif and background and the creation of new perception spaces are central topics in her work.
The No Make Up Look transforms a discursive situation into an installation. Themes that appear in the installation will be discussed on the podium. An image analysis is performed while the people doing it are part of the image they are analysing.
With regard to a media expansion, this work will have a temporal and performative dimension which, through the movements of the participants, will transform and distort the image in the image.
