Event map
Experimental printmaker Sinclair Ashman uses a texture-based collagraph printmaking process that employs everyday materials such as fabrics and acrylic gels to create printing plates.
About
The works produced take multiple forms including traditional prints on paper, printed and folded paper sculptures and low-relief pieces. This exhibition includes new works based on the human body, developed through exploring individual elements and by-products of the printmaking process, where pieces of paper are covered in metal leaf and exposed to heat.
