Join us for the launch of Silent Signal, a collaboration between artists and scientists exploring the signals that enable our bodies to operate and fight disease, through six animations.
Join us for the launch of Silent Signal, the new exhibition at QUAD showing six animations, each produced through a collaboration between an artist and a scientist that explore the signals that enable our bodies to operate and fight disease. Discover first-hand about the collaboration behind each artwork from the artists and scientists. Refreshments will be served, and there will be events around QUAD for the young and old! More details about the exhibition are available here.
A resource pack exploring the ethical and societal context of the science will be available in the gallery. Background material on each project and an online version of the resource will be available from 5 February at http://silentsignal.org/
Silent Signal is devised and produced by Animate Projects, and is supported by a Wellcome Trust Arts Award and the Garfield Weston Foundation.
7pm-9pm in QUAD Gallery, FREE entry
